So this year I am pleased to announce I am participating in the 31st Annual Charity Art Auction in Dawson Creek, BC.  I attended last year and could not have had a better time! There was good food, good wine and amazing art. This year they have decided that instead of a themed night as in the past, they are offering an Elegant Gala for the auction goers. This is a new direction that the South Peace Art Society is attempting with great enthusiasm. The Gala is to be held at the Best Western Banquet room with full supper, and classical entertainment.

So if you just so happen to be in Dawson Creek on April 13th hurry up and get your tickets and be ready to spend money on some art!

An Aerial Video of Amazing ‘Snow Circles’ Art Traced in Fresh Powder

Artist Sonja Hinrichsen enlisted five volunteers create beautiful geometric forms in the snow with their footprints. Cedar Beauregard, a cinematographer specializing in aerial photography, captured this footage of the piece with a remote-control helicopter, as well as these still images on Flickr.

Pretty neat!

Alright so I originally planned to upload photos as I progressed buuuut I get distracted easily.  So here it is from Start to finish.  I forgot to measure and get dimensions so I’ll be back with that. Anyway I’m totally in love with this bugger and I’d like to do more, especially considering I still have like 15lbs of denim left over. I can’t decide which side I like better, front or back?
